Cotton Wick or Wooden Wick?

Cotton Wick

• Provides a traditional and quiet candle experience
• Produces a steady flame
• Trim to approximately 1/4 inch before every burn
• A good choice for customers who prefer simple wick maintenance

Wooden Wick

• May produce a soft crackling sound
• Creates a wider, modern-looking flame
• Trim to approximately 1/8 inch before every burn
• Remove loose charred wood before relighting

Not every wick type is appropriate for every vessel and fragrance combination. The wick choices available for a particular candle are displayed on its product page.

Understanding Burn-Time Estimates

Burn times are approximate and assume the candle is used and maintained correctly. Actual performance may vary based on:

• Wick type and wick maintenance
• Fragrance composition
• Length of each burn session
• Room temperature and airflow
• Decorative wax elements or embeds
• Whether the candle reaches an even melt pool
• How much wax remains when use is discontinued

For the best performance, trim the wick before every use, keep the candle away from drafts and do not burn it for more than four hours at a time.

Stop burning the candle when approximately 1/2 inch of wax remains at the bottom of the vessel.
