Welcome to Phoenix Crafted. By accessing or purchasing from this website (phoenix-crafted.com), you agree to the following terms. Please read them carefully.

1. Overview

Phoenix Crafted is a small handmade business based in McLeansville, North Carolina, owned and operated by Megan. We sell handcrafted candles, wax melts, tealights, votives, diamond paintings, and custom solid-wood frames. These Terms govern your use of our website and your purchase of our products.

By placing an order or using this site, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age or are purchasing under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian.

2. Products

All products are handmade in small batches. Because of the handcrafted nature of what I make:

• Slight variations in color, scent throw, wax appearance, wick placement, and diamond painting finish are normal and part of the character of handmade goods.

• Product photos are representative — your item may differ slightly in appearance.

• Scent strength and burn behavior may vary based on room size, airflow, and burn conditions.

• Fragrance oils used are 100% phthalate-free and paraben-free.

• Wicks are lead-free cotton (crackling wood wick on select variants).

I reserve the right to update product offerings, discontinue items, or modify pricing at any time without notice.

3. Candle & Wax Melt Safety

Candles and wax melts are made for decorative and aromatic use. You are responsible for following all safety instructions included with your product, including:

• Never leave a burning candle unattended

• Keep away from children, pets, and flammable materials

• Trim wick to 1/4" before each burn

• Burn on a heat-safe, stable surface

• Do not burn for more than 4 hours at a time

Phoenix Crafted is not liable for damages, injury, or loss caused by improper use of our products.

4. Orders, Pricing & Payment

• All prices are listed in U.S. Dollars (USD)

• Payment is processed securely via Shopify Payments and accepted third-party processors

• We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order for reasons including but not limited to product availability, pricing errors, suspected fraud, or shipping restrictions

• If we cancel an order you've already paid for, you'll receive a full refund to the original payment method

Promo codes (such as BTGO) cannot be combined with other offers unless explicitly stated.

5. Shipping

6. Returns & Refunds

Please see our Refund Policy for full details. In short: returns accepted within 14 days of delivery on unused, unopened items. Damaged-in-transit items are eligible for free replacement or repair when reported with a photo within 7 days of delivery.

7. Custom Orders & Custom Frames

Custom diamond painting frames and any other made-to-order items are final sale and not eligible for return or refund except in the case of defect or shipping damage. By placing a custom order you agree to provide accurate specifications (wood type, stain, dimensions, profile) and acknowledge that final delivery timing may exceed standard processing time.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including product photography, written descriptions, scent design names, branding, logos, and the Phoenix Crafted name — is the intellectual property of Phoenix Crafted and may not be copied, redistributed, or used for commercial purposes without written permission.

You may share product photos on personal social media with appropriate credit and tagging (@phoenixcrafted).

9. User-Generated Content

If you submit reviews, photos, comments, or other content to our website or social media, you grant Phoenix Crafted a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual license to use, reproduce, and share that content for marketing purposes, with credit where appropriate.

You agree not to submit content that is unlawful, defamatory, obscene, infringing, or otherwise objectionable.

10. Website Use

You agree to use this website only for lawful purposes. You may not:

• Use the site in a way that disrupts or damages it

• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to accounts or backend systems

• Scrape or harvest data, prices, or images for resale or republication

• Use automated systems to place fraudulent orders

We reserve the right to block or refuse service to anyone violating these terms.

11. Third-Party Links & Services

This site may link to third-party services (such as USPS tracking, Klaviyo email, payment processors, or social media platforms). Phoenix Crafted is not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or operation of third-party sites.

12. Disclaimer of Warranties

Products are sold "as is." While I stand behind the quality of everything I make and will replace or repair items damaged in shipping, Phoenix Crafted makes no warranties — express or implied — beyond what is required by law regarding fitness for a particular purpose, scent performance, or burn outcomes.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Phoenix Crafted's total liability for any claim arising from your purchase or use of our products is limited to the amount you paid for the product in question. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, United States. Any disputes shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Guilford County, North Carolina.

15. Changes to These Terms

I may update these Terms from time to time. The "last updated" date below will reflect the most recent revision. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
