They are not grades of care or a promise that a more expensive candle burns longer or smells stronger.

Atelier is our more expressive studio direction, where an unusually considered combination of notes, a stronger fragrance concept, or a more specialized presentation makes the experience distinctive. The difference is in the composition and character, not automatically in scent strength.

Reserve: The Exceptional Expression
Reserve represents the most elevated fragrance concepts in the Phoenix Crafted range, where distinctive sensory character and a more developed premium proposition merit a separate place in the collection. A Reserve designation is considered across the complete fragrance experience; a single expensive ingredient or special vessel alone does not make a scent Reserve.

What Makes the Price Different?
All three lines share our commitment to small-batch craftsmanship. As you move from Core to Atelier to Reserve, you are choosing a different level of fragrance distinction, studio development, story, and, where applicable, presentation. Each scent is considered as a whole. Compare the same vessel, size and wick when comparing prices: a larger candle or limited-edition vessel can change price independently of its fragrance line.
Three Things Worth Knowing
Does Reserve smell stronger or burn longer?
Not necessarily. Strength, room reach, and burn time depend on the specific fragrance, vessel, wick, and how it is used. Check each product page for its particular details.
Does Core mean lower quality?
No. Core is our signature everyday range, not a lower standard of making or care.
Is Limited Edition the same as Reserve?
No. A special vessel or limited release is separate from a fragrance's Core, Atelier, or Reserve identity.
