Diamond Painting Details

Phoenix Crafted diamond paintings are completed, handcrafted works of art—not kits. Each piece is carefully assembled by hand, finished, inspected and prepared for display before it is offered for sale.

Some pieces include a handcrafted wood frame. Others are sold unframed and may be eligible for a custom handcrafted frame through our Custom Order page.

Handcrafted Finished Artwork

Every diamond painting is completed by hand using individually placed resin diamonds. The finished surface reflects light from different angles, creating depth, texture and sparkle that can change throughout the day.

Because each piece is handmade, slight variations are natural and make every artwork unique.

What You Receive

Your order includes the completed diamond painting shown or described on the product page.

Depending on the listing, the artwork may be offered:

  • Fully finished and unframed
  • Fully finished with a handcrafted wood frame
  • Fully finished with the option to request a custom handcrafted wood frame

The product description will clearly state whether a frame is included.

Finished Surface

The artwork is completed before shipment and may include full-drill or partial-drill diamond placement, depending on the design.

The finished surface may feature:

  • Round or square resin diamonds
  • Specialty diamonds or accent stones
  • Reflective, metallic or iridescent details
  • Textured areas created by varied diamond shapes
  • Hand-finished edges and display preparation

Artwork materials and finishing details vary by piece and are listed on the individual product page when applicable.

Natural Handmade Variations

Small variations are part of the handcrafted process and are not considered defects. These may include:

  • Slight differences in diamond alignment
  • Minor spacing variations
  • Subtle differences in reflective color
  • Small changes in edge finishing
  • Natural variation in handcrafted wood frames

Each piece is inspected before shipment to confirm that it meets Phoenix Crafted quality standards.

Framed Diamond Paintings

When a handcrafted wood frame is included, the frame is made or finished to complement the artwork.

Frame details may include:

  • Natural or stained wood
  • Painted finishes
  • Rustic, modern or decorative styling
  • Horizontal or vertical orientation
  • Installed hanging or display hardware

Handcrafted Wood Frame Variations

Wood is a natural material. Grain pattern, knots, texture and stain absorption may vary from one frame to another.

These differences are part of the handcrafted character of the frame and make each framed artwork one of a kind.

Unframed Diamond Paintings

Some finished diamond paintings are sold without a frame. Unframed pieces are still completed works of art and are not supplied as kits.

An unframed piece may arrive:

  • Mounted on its original canvas
  • Prepared with finished edges
  • Backed or stabilized for protection
  • Ready for professional or custom framing

Display preparation varies by artwork and will be noted on the product page.

Request a Custom Handcrafted Frame

If a diamond painting is not already framed, you may request a custom handcrafted wood frame through our Custom Order page.

Custom framing may include choices such as:

  • Frame color
  • Stain or painted finish
  • Wood appearance
  • Frame width and profile
  • Rustic, classic or modern styling
  • Display orientation
  • Hanging hardware

Available options depend on the artwork’s size, shape and construction.

How Custom Framing Works

  1. Visit the Custom Order page.
  2. Tell us which diamond painting you are interested in.
  3. Share your preferred frame color, finish and style.
  4. Include any room décor or display details that may help guide the design.
  5. Review the proposed design, price and production timeline.
  6. Approve the details before custom frame production begins.

Custom framing is priced separately unless the product page specifically states that a frame is included.

Because custom frames are made for a particular piece and customer, approved custom framing orders are generally final sale once production begins.

Artwork Size and Measurements

Product measurements are listed on each individual product page.

Measurements may refer to:

  • The completed diamond image area
  • The full canvas dimensions
  • The outside dimensions of an included frame

Review the measurement description carefully before ordering, especially when selecting artwork for a specific wall or display area.

Custom framing may increase the finished outside dimensions of the artwork.

Display Recommendations

For the best visual effect, display diamond paintings where natural or interior light can reflect across the finished surface.

Recommended display areas include:

Avoid prolonged direct sunlight, high humidity and areas exposed to cooking grease, steam or excessive heat.

Hanging Framed Artwork

  • Use wall anchors and hardware appropriate for the artwork’s weight.
  • Confirm that hanging hardware is secured before display.
  • Lift the artwork by the frame rather than the diamond surface.
  • Do not hang heavy artwork using adhesive strips unless they are specifically rated for its weight.

Phoenix Crafted is not responsible for damage caused by improper hanging hardware or installation.

Care and Cleaning

Handle the artwork carefully to preserve the diamond surface and frame.

  • Dust gently with a clean, soft brush or dry microfiber cloth.
  • Do not scrub the diamond surface.
  • Do not apply liquid cleaners directly to the artwork.
  • Keep the piece away from prolonged moisture and humidity.
  • Avoid pressing sharp or heavy objects against the diamonds.
  • Clean handcrafted wood frames with a soft, dry cloth.

Loose or Shifted Diamonds

An occasional loose diamond may occur during shipping or over time.

Do not use household glue or liquid adhesive without contacting us first. Some adhesives can cloud the diamonds, damage the canvas or affect the surrounding finish.

One-of-a-Kind and Limited Availability

Many completed diamond paintings are one-of-a-kind or available in very limited quantities.

Once a finished piece sells, the exact artwork may not be available again. Similar designs may still differ because of materials, diamond placement, finishing and frame construction.

Custom Requests

Custom requests may be available for:

  • A handcrafted frame for an existing unframed piece
  • A coordinated frame finish
  • Specific display hardware
  • Artwork and frame combinations
  • Special gift or décor requests
